The PanoramaRest (PanoramaLiege) is a foam insert designed specifically for open, flat Auer Euro containers in the 60 × 40 cm format. It is intended for storing HO scale (Spur H0) model trains — including locomotives and wagons with taller superstructures — in a secure, organized and visually clear arrangement. The insert measures 560 × 360 mm, leaving 5 mm of space on each side to accommodate additional padding panels that cushion the inner walls of the container.

• The PanoramaRest foam insert features 5 angled compartment dividers (Stege), each 560 mm long with a resting width of approximately 58 mm, designed to hold HO scale models safely in place.
• The slight angle of the compartments creates a panoramic effect when looking into the open container, making it easy to view and identify all stored models at a glance.
• Compartment depth is sufficient to accommodate models with taller superstructures on locomotives or wagons, allowing them to be placed and removed comfortably without obstruction.

The PanoramaRest is optimized for the specific interior dimensions of Auer Euro containers in the 60 × 40 cm size. Its five full-width dividers span the entire 560 mm length of the insert, creating five parallel resting zones for rolling stock. The angled design of the compartments is a deliberate structural choice: models rest at a slight incline, which not only provides a clear panoramic view of the entire contents when the container is open, but also ensures that taller models — such as steam locomotives with high chimneys or wagons with elevated loads — can be lifted out without catching on the insert structure. The 5 mm margin on each side of the insert is reserved for additional foam padding strips, which can be added to prevent lateral movement and protect the container walls from contact with the models.
