This flexible Feldherr foam insert is designed as a train cradle for Z gauge (Nenngröße Z) model railways. It keeps your locomotives and wagons neatly organized, safely stored and transported, and can also be used as a display or angled work stand for presenting and maintaining your models.

The V-shaped compartments hold your models almost upright, making them easily visible and accessible from the side. This makes the insert ideal not only for safe storage and transport, but also as a practical display solution for your Z gauge collection.

Because the models are well supported along their length and gently embedded in foam, the insert can also be used as a sloped cradle when you carry out smaller maintenance jobs or repairs on your locomotives.

The 7 compartments are tailored to Z gauge and provide reliable protection for locomotives and wagons. Several trains or individual cars can be placed next to each other in a single compartment, so you can use the available space efficiently while still keeping everything clearly organized.

The insert fits into all common 40 cm x 30 cm Euroboxes and storage boxes. This lets you combine the foam cradle with existing boxes for safe transport and dust-protected storage.

Only high-quality, fine-pored foam is used. It is chlorine- and acid-free, so it will not attack the material or paint of your models. The aging-resistant, UV-stable foam offers long-term protection against damage to small parts and fine details, and helps prevent wear such as scratches or chipping paint.
