The core of this set is the Auer Packaging Euro container ED 43/32 HG with hinged lid, with a standardized footprint of 400 x 300 mm and a height of 335 mm. It is supplied together with a complete interior foam configuration that allows you to adapt the interior precisely to the items you want to transport or store.

The six raster foam inserts (IUMFOR050) each measure 370 mm x 270 mm x 50 mm. They are pre-perforated with a 15 mm x 15 mm grid over the entire surface and have a height of 50 mm. Thanks to this perforation, individual blocks of foam can be easily removed by hand, enabling you to create custom-shaped cavities that follow the contours of your equipment. This makes the foam particularly suitable for protecting different industrial goods of varying shapes and sizes, for example medical devices, individual tool parts, or technical components.

Each raster foam insert is provided with a surrounding edge. This closed outer frame improves the stability of the insert and helps ensure that the remaining foam structure retains its shape, even when many inner blocks have been removed to fit specific items. At the same time, the edge offers additional lateral protection and cushioning along the inner walls of the Euro container.

As a base layer inside the container, the set includes a 10 mm thick foam bottom (DEMENL010) measuring 358 mm x 258 mm. This bottom is dimensioned so that it fits exactly into the recessed bottom area of Auer Packaging Euro boxes of the corresponding 40 x 30 cm footprint. It forms a continuous, cushioned support for all items placed on top, and serves as the foundation for the raster foam layers.

For the lid, the set contains a self-adhesive foam insert (JDBA010S), 338 mm x 238 mm x 10 mm. This element is specially cut for the lid of an Auer Eurobox with 40 x 30 cm footprint. The back of this foam is self-adhesive, so it can be glued directly into the inside of the hinged lid. Once installed, it functions as an upper cover that gently presses down on the stored items when the box is closed, helping to keep them securely in position and adding extra protection from above.

In daily use, you first insert the base foam into the recess at the bottom of the Euro container. Above this, you stack the raster foam inserts, customizing them as needed by removing grid blocks to create form-fitting compartments for your goods. Finally, you glue the self-adhesive foam panel into the lid, creating a snug closure when the lid is shut. This setup minimizes movement of the contents during transport and provides cushioning on all sides.

If required, you can upgrade the Euro container to a carry case: with the optionally available handle (SKU: 16538, not included in this set), the Eurobox can be converted into a case with just a few simple steps. This offers additional convenience for mobile use, while the foam configuration continues to provide reliable protection for sensitive equipment and components during transport.
