The Feldherr Configurator starts with an empty container. This category lists 26 of them — storage boxes, bags, magnetic boxes and cases, all supplied without foam. You pick the container, fill it with the foam trays you need and add the finished combination to your cart as a set. Prices start at €4.99 for the FSLB040 storage box.
Which footprint does each container have?
Every container is built around one of the three Feldherr footprints. The footprint determines which foam trays fit.

The formats divide evenly: one Double-Size layer holds two Full-Size trays or four Half-Size trays. A Full-Size container likewise takes two Half-Size trays side by side.
How much height is available?
For the storage boxes the usable inner height is part of the name. The FSLB150 offers 150 mm usable height at 155 mm outer height — the inner measurement is the one that counts. Available are 40, 55, 75, 150, 250 and 310 mm in Full-Size, plus 75, 150 and 310 mm in Double-Size.
For the bags the height is listed on the product page. The MEDIUM bag, for example, holds 345 × 275 × 120 mm.
Add up the heights of your foam trays and compare them against the inner measurement. Plan for a topper of 4 to 10 mm: it closes the stack at the top and protects painted surfaces.

Which foam trays fit my container?
That depends on the footprint. Half-Size containers take trays of 275 × 172 mm, Full-Size containers 345 × 275 mm, Double-Size containers 550 × 345 mm. A Double-Size container alternatively holds two Full-Size trays or four Half-Size trays per layer.
What does the number in FSLB150 mean?
FS stands for the Full-Size footprint, LB for storage box (Lagerbox) and 150 for the usable inner height in millimetres. The outer height is greater — 155 mm in the case of the FSLB150.
How many foam trays fit on top of each other?
As many as the usable inner height allows. For example, an FSLB150 takes three trays of 50 mm, or two trays of 70 mm plus a 10 mm topper. The Configurator calculates the remaining height with every selection.
