The versatile foam insert for model railways in scale Z allows you to store your models neatly and within easy reach.

Thanks to the V-shaped design, the insert can be used not only to display your locomotives and wagons. The models are arranged at a 45-degree angle and are easily accessible from the side. Therefore, the train cradle is also ideal as an inclined tray for small maintenance tasks and repairs.

The zigzag pattern of the insert creates 9 compartments for rolling stock in Z gauge. Multiple locomotives and cars can be placed side by side. To prevent touching or unintended coupling, we recommend our matching foam spacers (HS025A002).

This Feldherr train cradle fits into many 40 x 30 cm Euro containers, Euro boxes, or storage boxes, such as:

• Auer Packaging 40 x 30 (e.g., ED 43/75 HG)
• Ringoplast Unista UNISTA M75

The dimensions of the foam insert are as follows:

• Length of the compartment: 360 mm
• Depth of the sides (compartment depth): approximately 24 mm each
• Height from bottom to peak: approx. 28 mm
• Height from bottom to valley: approx. 10 mm

The entire foam insert measures 360 mm x 260 mm x 28 mm in height.
