Due to its wave shape, convoluted foam is used to transport sensitive objects. It adapts to the transported inventory and holds them in position and has a dampening effect in the event of a fall. We suggest using the convoluted foam as protection in the lid of transport boxes, as this prevents your products from hitting the top of the box and being damaged. the foam can be cut easily to be adjusted to the dimensions of your tool box, transport container, or bag.
In addition, convoluted foam can be used for noise attenuation. As an insulating material in workshops, this foam reduces noise pollution. In recording studios, it improves sound quality.
If you want to dampen the noise in a room so that the noise level is more bearable for the people who are in the room, it is best to use convoluted foam of at least 5cm thickness. The thicker the foam, the better the insulation.
