The core of this set is the Auer Packaging Euro container / Euro Box with hinged lid, model ED 43/27 HG, in the 400 x 300 x 285 mm format. It serves as a robust outer shell for transporting sensitive or high-value items in industrial, technical or medical environments.

Inside the box, five pre-perforated foam inserts measuring 370 mm x 270 mm x 50 mm (IUMFOR050) provide the protective interior. These inserts feature a 15 mm x 15 mm grid structure over the full 50 mm height. Thanks to this pre-perforation, individual foam cubes can be removed by hand, allowing you to create custom-shaped cavities that follow the contours of your specific objects. The foam inserts also have an all-round border, which stabilizes the edges and helps the insert sit cleanly in the container.

As a base layer, the set includes a 10 mm thick foam bottom (DEMENL010) in 358 mm x 258 mm. This bottom pad is dimensioned to fit precisely into the recessed area inside Auer Packaging Euro boxes. It serves as the foundation on which the pick & pluck foam inserts are placed, adding an additional cushioning layer beneath your stored items.

For the lid, the set contains a 10 mm thick self-adhesive foam sheet in 338 mm x 238 mm (JDBA010S). This is a special cut sized specifically for the lid of a 40 x 30 cm Auer Eurobox. The self-adhesive backing allows the foam to be permanently fixed inside the hinged lid. Once installed, it acts as an upper cover that gently presses down on the contents when the box is closed, preventing movement and providing top-side protection.

The combination of individually adaptable pick & pluck foam, precise-fit bottom pad and custom-cut lid foam makes this set well suited for securing a wide array of industrial goods. Typical applications include the transport and storage of medical equipment, individual tool components, measurement instruments and other technical devices that must be protected from shocks and impacts.
